Huawei OptiXaccess EA5800 Series
Huawei OptiXAccess EA5800 series, including SmartAX EA5800-X17, X15, X7, and X2, build ultra-broadband, green, and intelligent aggregation access networks for users. Featuring distributed architecture, this multi-service access device provides users with a unified transmission platform for broadband, wireless, video, and video security.
Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON), 10-Gigabit-Capable Passive Optical Network (XG-PON), 10-Gigabit-Capable Symmetric Passive Optical Network (XGS-PON), GE, and 10 GE access are all supported for multiple network construction modes, including Fiber To The Office (FTTO), Fiber To The Machine (FTTM), and Fiber To The Home (FTTH). One optical network covers all services, simplifying network architecture and reducing Operating Expenditure (OPEX).
SmartAX EA5800 is available in small, medium, and large specifications, to meet the diverse needs of enterprises.
Distributed Architecture
Service processing is distributed from the control board to service boards, leading to higher switching capacity and system performance. A single slot can reach a throughput of 200 Gbit/s, satisfying the high demands of gigabit broadband and handling even the most bandwidth-hungry services, such as 4K video
High Reliability
Type B/Type C dual-homing implements backup protection for remote Disaster Recovery (DR) through redundancy backup, by configuring two control boards and two power boards. Multiple uplinks are also configured to provide a secure and reliable operating environment
Uninterrupted Service Upgrades
Distributed architecture separates the control and forwarding planes, allowing software upgrades without any service interruption. User complaints are reduced and service downtime is eliminated
